To me, crassness and vulgarity are a bit different. I would put skits about masturbation in the vulgar category. Sorry, but vulgar is never funny.

What I think they are doing, with this strong female cast, is trying to be more edgy in their “feminist” way. That group, doing the songs, has done some very, very funny stuff over the last couple of years.
I don’t think this was their “finest” effort. But, I have daughters, now in their twenties. I know what its like to walk in and find them.....in “personal” moments when they were early teens. It was embarrassing, and reminiscent getting “caught” in my youth. I explained to them later how doors worked. And that I would never come in without knocking.
So there were parts of it that I found “amusing.”
But, to each his own. My guess is that neither you nor I are in them demographic target. More than once I’ve had to have my iPad nearby to look up a comment in order to stay current.
Getting old sucks....
