Not really a fan of Bernstein.
The late great Sir Georg Solti conducting, and Vladimir Ashkenazi on piano, is the best, IMO.
I became obsessed with this concerto in the early stages of my first pregnancy. So much so, that hubby got sick of it and “accidentally” sold it at a yard sale.
A few years later, riding in the car with my 4 year old son, the concerto came on the radio. My son started bouncing excitedly, saying, “Mom! I know that song!”
He remembered hearing it while in utero.
