Haven’t seen any around where I live.
If I did I’d give her the dirtiest look I could muster up.

There’s a verse in the Quran where Mohammed said anyone wearing their clothes below their ankle is going to hell. Seriously.

In Turkey, IIRC the close fitting stocking caps were to signify the wearer had been on the haj. (pilgrimage to mecca) Back in the 80’s they weren’t very common but I’m sure they are now.

That’s a rehash of an old joke, except it was a black guy talking asking God why he gave him black skin, kinky hair and put him in Harlem.

Thereâs a verse in the Quran where Mohammed said anyone wearing their clothes below their ankle is going to hell. Seriously. There are quotations in the Hadiths concerning this.
Abu Dawud Book 027, Hadith Number 4082.
Narated By Abu Sa'id al-Khudri :
AbdurRahman said: I asked Abu Sa'id al-Khudri about wearing lower garment.
He said: You have come to the man who knows it very well. The Apostle of Allah (pbuh) said: The way for a believer to wear a lower garment is to have it halfway down his legs and he is guilty of no sin if it comes halfway between that and the ankles, but what comes lower than the ankles is in Hell. On the day of Resurrection. Allah will not look at him who trails his lower garment conceitedly.

I've noticed that Hindus wear turbans of different colors. For instance, the former Prime Minister of India always was photographed wearing a blue turban. I wondered if there was some significance to the colors. One day I saw a Hindu at a rest stop and decided to ask him. He replied that the color had no significance; that he had turbans of several colors at home. So my curiosity was satisfied.

Some of prints, some white, black, and various other colors. Is there any signifigance to the colors or the way it's worn? Some just have heads covereed, others covereed with the black things from head to toe. Also see some men with the skull caps and others that don't.for men it's easier -- Moslems follow the OT rules like Jews that men should cover their heads when in prayer.
For most, this is the skull cap or Kufi, but in Central Asia they would wear something like this
while Bohris and Syedna Bohris (two sub-sects of the Shia mostly based in the subcontinent) wear this traditional cap
For women there are various types of coverings - basically again they follow the OT rule that married women should cover their hair. In some parts this is just a shawl
and also in Iran this is the chador

The basic rule is to cover your head -- as in the OT.
Different types are based on a combination of which religious "school" (i.e. way of thought) and which culture you come from. The Hanafi or Salafi way is the full burqa or niqab, the Ayatollah's force the Chador.
Different cultures have different types of head-dress, but the Wahabbis all dress the same no matter what culture -- they like to pretend they are all Nejdi Bedouins from Riyadh

Good point Homer (though in jest) — when you are in desert climates, the flowing jellabah in white cloth reflects the heat, and the loose nature means you get breeze. It is the right outfit just as the Greeks wore tunics and the Romans togas.

It depends, some Arab women are gorgeous -- I give you as a case in point: Asma Al-Assad (the one in the dress)
or Queen Rania of Jordan
Or Irani women like Mahtab Keramati

The Burkha, chador and niqab quite definitely must be banned along with any other face-coverings.
Probably also banning the headscarf, but then one runs into the problem that women of other faiths also wear it.

In India, the color of the turban would be just like picking out what color shirt you want to wear -- generally :)
But the STYLE of the turban would depend on the region
Sikhs from Punjab
Maratha turban

Yes, but I can tell you that among Irani women, the rate of women who could be called beauties is at the US level -- but they are covered by these blankets. Among Arab women -- the term "Arab" is really broad, so if you look at North African women or Syrians or Iraqis, they have a wonderful mix of genetics - Semitic, Greek, Roman, Turkic, Berber, even Germanic and Celtic and they too tend to be very, very beautiful. Among the true bedo of the Arabian peninsula, this is lower than average.
Among Pakist, this is a mixed bag again, I'd probably say lower than average among Punjabis but a bit above for Pushtuns and Sindhis
