Beautiful Extraordinary Form Mass, we had three priests including one younger than I. It was comforting to know it is still be learned how to be done.

I’ve been noticing now a lot of young ones who are now pastors after a few short years, they are diffidently more conservative than the ones in there 60’s and 70’s across the board but until I saw this one I didn’t know of any young ones who are skilled in the Extraordinary form.
I think Benedict was far more welcoming of it, which was bringing it back. Frank, not so much.
Benedict made it clear that it was never abrogated (despite the attempt by Paul VI).
Frank has not been hostile to it, and has even extended at least one olive branch to the SSPX
that’s right, I had forgotten the olive branch.
Thanks to both of you - it would seem after so many years it wouldn’t be so hard but it still is.
