I remember reading in the late sixties, early seventies that some therapists (the rapists ... think about it) experimented with sensory deprivation

Some kind of a closed container with warm, body temperature water and completely in the dark and silence people would .... well ... I don't know why they did it

I just remember reading about it

I experienced isolation deprivation tanks.I’m not sure what the rapists thing
you are talking about.
It puts you in a extremely relaxed state,you feel very serene when you get out,but at the same time,a number of your senses are hightened.
