This is happening now in base housing at a local military installation
A guy who,is deployed “ rented” his barracks room to a couple of locals
I’m not sure how that is possible. When Soldiers in the barracks deploy all their stuff they don’t take with them is placed in storage and they clear the barracks completely.
Even their vehicles are stored at government expense.
But there are exceptions...
