To change Islam for the good would be to turn it into something else that isn’t Islam.
Years ago I read this dialogue:
Muslim: “What do we have to do to make you infidels stop hating us!?”
Christian: “Stop the Jew-hatred, end worldwide jihad, no more FGM, liberate women from the burka, let non-Muslims live in peace....”
Muslim (interrupting): “In other words, you just want me to stop being a Muslim!!!”
