Almost any innocent occupant of that seat would look dazed and scared a bit, probably, ha! He’s really a handsome bird. I’m sure he has a good home in nature nearby there. Or some local resident may volunteer to provide him one? I obviously dont know anything about owls but ...

Many, many years ago I worked as a security guard at a manufacturing facility. I would make my rounds keying a machine so the company had proof a guard was making fire safety rounds all night. I was unarmed and carried only that machine, and wore a helmet which had a bright, shiney medal just above the visor.

There was one stretch of my rounds that was on the second floor of the facility. It consisted of walking along a metal catwalk outside the building between two doors. There was an owl that would always attack my helmet while I was crossing that catwalk, so I tended to run between the doors. More than once he, or she, would strike the back of my helmet. I never got up the courage to try walking back the other way; I was afraid of losing an eye.

When officers later opened the door of the police car, the owl flew off into the darkness.

We have a soft spot for Owls down here.
