Jackfruit can be an alternative for pulled pork. Never tried it because I can’t find canned jackfruit which is suppose to be better for it than fresh.

JackFruit is a very tasty and sweet fruit. It grows on trees and sometimes is larger than a watermelon. It tastes a little like mango or canteloupe. The one thing I could never get used to was the juice, which is so sticky that it will not wash off with soap and water, but needs something like turpentine or nail polish remover to clean it off your fingers.
It’s available on Amazon in brine, syrup, or water for just over $2 and up a can.
