“I guess I got too comfortable at the wrong moment”
I haven’t told anyone this, not hubby or the kid, but I did that exact same thing the other day on my way to work.
To borrow a phrase from Juan Williams, I came very near to getting “smooshed” between 2 tractor trailers on my lovely commute at a part of the road where you just lose a lane with no warning. But I do know that, so that fault would have been mine.
But, I hit the brakes and I was OK.
