Another friend of mine, who was in the army, came East from California to Maryland. He had never dealt with snow, so he didn’t know what to do with a snow-covered car. He decided to use his shovel to remove it. Down to the paint. Sometimes further. Other than that, he was pretty much a genius.

The carowner could have cleared the windshield by just turning on the wipers.

Also, if they drove at more than maybe 5mph, the mind would have smoothed out the edges of the snow. Definitely not an actual driver-window

Oh yeah.... just drove 30mph from Amarillo to Panhandle ...... whiteout conditions with about 2 inches of powder snow on black ice,,,,, can’t see hardly at all.... very slow going, idigits already in the medians, bar ditch, wadi’s etc....

Frost on the windows.

Credit card scrape across the window and defrost on high.

Was pretty cold last two weeks.

When it started choking, there was a lever under the steering wheel to open the reserve tank of about 1-2 gallon!
