We love to cook. My husband is a master on the grill... beef, pork, chicken, fish, even pizza. Well, we invited friends over for dinner and he made his homemade pork marinade, and BBQ sauce from scratch. Marinated the pork country style back ribs, and baby back ribs. Then he grilled them for a while, then put them into huge pans of his BBQ sauce for an hour or more. They are fall off the bone tender and so delicious! The friends came for dinner but the wife was from Belgium, and a very talented French cook. She said, “I will go but if I don’t like the food, I won’t eat it” We are Texans, so of course it is good! She not only ate it, she asked for seconds and said it was delicious. Nothing better than Texas BBQ.

Well, except for North Carolina pulled pork with a non-tomato vinegar based sauce with a healthy portion of slaw on top.
The best bbq is the bbq one is currently eating.
Texas bbq is great, but no greater than anywhere else one finds meat being cooked low and slow.
