Here is what REALLY happened!

The boats are given a complete mechanical check before departure, and they have sufficient fuel to accomplish their mission plus extra. If, for some unexplainable and rare circumstance one boat broke down, the other would tow it, that's why two boats go on these trips and not one! It's called "self-rescue" and it's SOP.
This entire situation is in my area of expertise. I can state with complete confidence that both Iran and our own State Department are lying. The boats did not enter Iranian waters. They were overtaken in international waters by Iranian patrol boats that were so superior in both speed and firepower that it became a "hands up!" situation, with automatic cannons in the 40mm to 76mm range pointed at them point-blank. Surrender, hands up, or be blown out of the water. I assume that the Iranians had an English speaker on a loudspeaker to make the demand. This takedown was no accident or coincidence, it was a planned slap across America's face.

Those ten sailors will probably be sent by Obama to Cameroon for some mission where they will vanish, never to be heard from again.

I appreciate your comments, Matt. There is no doubt to the veracity of your comments, and no doubt about how the returning sailors will be under the heaviest boot of the Obama government not to disclose the truth. Couple this with the corrupt MSM determined lack of curiosity and one sees clearly how this law breaker in chief continues how lawless actions — and no thanks to Republicans. By the way, any Republican anywhere working to get to the bottom of this? Oh, and please don’t tell me Darrell Issa is on this.
Finally, one thing that really bugs me here is seeing our sailors on their knees with their hands over their heads. Further, knowing they were propaganda pieces, they could have sought to look more crisp and military (sit up) than lounging on some Iranian floor. Having myself been in the military I would like to think I would have acted with more dignity and resistance.
I wouldn’t put it past Obama to have pre-planned the ENTIRE THING, so as to give him some cover when handing over the loot to Iran.

There is theory that it was all done in the vein of the USA playing the Iranians a “Jizya Tax” which are supposed to be paid in an act of “Humiliation by the payee” to the Islamic master.
Of course, this makes our captured soldiers look bad, especially since they folded so easily under pressure, and more so, it humiliates the ENTIRE US military.

Matt, good work. Have a question though.
The videos we saw showed small Boston Whaler type Iranian skiffs surrounding the US boats.
The Iranians had superior firepower? Sure didn’t show that on the videos we saw.
Also, where was the US rescue assets? Helicopter, surface ships, aircraft.

My Son, did two years with USN in Bahrain backed up what Matt said. He also said that air backup would have been there in minutes.
There are multiple communication and navigation backup systems on each boat. What’s the chance ALL communication was lost on both boats? None.

Sorcha Faal is on it guys, if you can believe any of it. They say the U.S. was transporting a big, baddie ISIS leader to somewhere he would do the most good for the U.S. cause, when Iran interceded and grabbed him. It’s an interesting read...just can’t 100% believe anything they say. Sigh.
