It behooves law enforcement to explain to the public what this person was doing besides driving responsibly and that it probably caused his death. If they can release information to the public about a drunk driver fatally smashing her vehicle into a tree then they can share the information in a case like this. Yes, and that's why I said that I'd say he was distracted by his cell phone. If alcohol was involved, I'd say there was alcohol involved.

Okay, okay! However, because the driver in this case was ‘multi-tasking’ while driving (watching a movie and manipulating himself), you can’t ignore the totality of the causes and their effects.

If we had self driving cars he would be OK today.
Maybe we need a federal mandate from the EPA for all new cars to be self driving.

Unbelievable...
Driving safely is difficult enough, without that added distraction.
I see folks trying to text while driving, every day. They’re enough of a hazard to other people.
