I was surprised when I read it -- he gave an interview crapping all over his parents, his mother in particular, for forcing him to attend Church as a kid, and bragging about how he really showed them by becoming a satanist. He said several other times after that at various times. I also realized that the garbled noises in his song "3 shades of black" are backwards recordings of Anton Lavey talking about satanism...I had thought it was just another one of the "back-mask the tape and it will kind of sound like..." type conspiracies, but simply play the song backwards and there it is.
Sad how he turned out.
