We are out of the schools for the last 17 years. It was getting unacceptable in our little town. I had my first encounter with a principal when our oldest was in 6th grade and they were trying some mainstreaming experiment crap. My second was after Columbine when they went nuts and started shadowing the kids from class to class because some stupid little girls made false accusations. It was getting bad including the “history” teacher that was pumping the war of southern insurrection idea.
Today, if I had screwl age kids, they would be home schooled and never see a screwl house.

The part not mentioned, he is suing the officials personally too. I don’t know the laws in Md at all but if what they did is beyond their scope of employment in the district, they indeed could be personally liable in some states.
No need build a prison there. Just airdrop them from a helicopter somewhere over ANWR with food and water and a blanket and tell them they are free if they can walk to Fairbanks.
Any Saudi prison would be more fun for them, however, if they object to that idea perhaps Turkey would take them - they have a great little prison in Sinope complete with Iron Maidens ...
