Carson only ever led in a handful of precincts early on anyway and most of his voters went in knowing it was hopeless.
One of my friends said she went in to vote for Carson but switched to Cruz without anyone ever mentioning anything about Carson dropping out. Carson didn’t even have a precinct captain where she was.
Yeah that makes lying gutter politics on caucus night when votes were being counted ok. Especially when it’s the “principled” conservative that does it.
