I see this as quite likely fact, being women write code better.
Let’s face it, women are made for clerical duties, such as writing. And number two, regarding code, they always communicate in such a way they cannot be understood, which supports the notion they communicate in code.
So there you have it, women write better code. They are naturals!
True.
In my experience I’ve dealt with Asian women who have the same work ethic as American men - and they are getting jobs because of it. I don’t think there is a genetic inclination to “clerical duties”, but a cultural one - many middle-aged and older women assumed their income would be secondary, and are facing a lot of financial pressure because the men’s wages have been falling.
Female clerical workers I’ve dealt with are slighted that a lawyer working in a firm for two years earns more than them while they’ve been there for a dozen; there is no weighting of skills/certificates required or education attained.
That’s funny! Probably true, even.
Speaking of clerical duties, my sister and BIL used to play Pictionary with another couple, men vs women. The women always won. They’d draw some obscure image which was nothing remotely like the mystery word, but in the corner they’d sneak in the actual word in shorthand. A code only they could understand.
