Predictive programming is a recurring element across many conspiracy theories. The claim is that when conspirators plan a false flag operation, they hide references to it in the popular media before the atrocity takes place; when the event occurs, the public has softened up, and therefore passively accepts it rather than offering resistance or opposition.
Yep. This episode was after the Cheney accidental shooting, AND it was after the trumped-up “controversy” about Scalia going hunting with Cheney. So, no surprise Family Guy would run this kind of joke. The joke was both inappropriate and low-hanging fruit, two of Family Guy’s specialties.
They seem to have softened us to the point we are nothing more than marshmallows melting. Puffy, with no substance.
