All businessmen on ALL levels get loans from banks. That includes farmers, who are controlled by the government, not banks. The banks don’t like to control the businessmen because they want their money back with interest.
Do the bankers think they know Trump’s business better than he does? Bankers look for secure investments, not control.
I don’t find it strange at all that a wheeling dealing business man used banks to help fund his ventures. And it was ventures that they were investing in.
What are they investing in when they donate to politicians? Give favorable loans to politicians?
I don’t find it strange that doing business in New York may require an unofficial envoy to approach the mafia influenced labor unions and negotiate side deals.
This all plays into Trumps character and it is good. He knows how the system works, he’s intending on using that knowledge an a national basis for our national interests.
