That’s absolutely true. Noticed yesterday that Obama supported Turkey’s “right” to slaughter Kurds framing it as self-defense. Of course the invasion, occupation and expulsion of 200,000 from Cyprus is never an issue either. From time to time, I encountered Turks on Twitter denouncing Israel but were dumbfounded when I turned it around to Turkey’s holocaust that inspired Hitler, their occupation of Cyprus, of Armenian land, of Constantinople, etc.
I believe you are referring to Smyrna, now called Ismir. There is a very good book on this horrific tragedy called “Paradise Lost”. Thousands died of all nationalities and the entire city burned for a week.
One small correction: Armenian, not Amerian.
