I can see merits on both sides of the argument, but will it take a successful dirty bomb attack or worse to diminish the concern for hacking a single iPhone?

Maybe the government should focus more on keeping the terrorists out of the country in the first place, rather than going after a private company.

There were other terror programs that actually did help prevent terror that were shut down because they were racists or discriminatory. I don’t think national security or stopping terrorists is the reason the gov’t wants to hack into people’s private lives, unless you’re talking about tea party terrorists.

You don’t get to complain that iphones are such a mortal danger to our security, while the government REFUSED to even look at the facebook page of the women terrorist who filed for a green card. It was filled with jihadi crap.

They wont look at the open facebook and twitter of a foreigner who wants to come here from a terrorist country, but they really need to look at every Americans Iphone?
