I can see merits on both sides of the argument, but will it take a successful dirty bomb attack or worse to diminish the concern for hacking a single iPhone?
Maybe the government should focus more on keeping the terrorists out of the country in the first place, rather than going after a private company.
There were other terror programs that actually did help prevent terror that were shut down because they were racists or discriminatory. I don’t think national security or stopping terrorists is the reason the gov’t wants to hack into people’s private lives, unless you’re talking about tea party terrorists.
“but will it take a successful dirty bomb attack or worse to diminish the concern for hacking a single iPhone?”
You don’t get to complain that iphones are such a mortal danger to our security, while the government REFUSED to even look at the facebook page of the women terrorist who filed for a green card. It was filled with jihadi crap.
They wont look at the open facebook and twitter of a foreigner who wants to come here from a terrorist country, but they really need to look at every Americans Iphone?
Bullshit.
