TRUMP EXPOSES PHONY SOCIAL JUSTICE POPE (Rev. Jesse lee Peterson)
WND ^ | 2-21-16 | Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson

Posted on 02/22/2016 4:13:46 PM PST by dynachrome

Pope Francis has shown his true colors. He’s no friend of America.

While visiting Mexico, the pope suggested Donald Trump “is not Christian” for calling for a border wall. The pope, who claims to care about justice for the poor, showed shameful disregard toward vulnerable American citizens – especially blacks – damaged most by the presence of illegal aliens.

Trump denounced Francis’ remarks as “disgraceful.” A pope spokesperson, like a snake, tried to soften the words, claiming it wasn’t “a personal attack” and was based on “what he was told” by Mexican officials.

Pope Francis, an anti-American socialist, slandered our most pro-American capitalist; he deserves harsh rebuke. A Christian repudiates any leader whose “Christianity” builds “bridges” rather than “walls” to lawlessness, gangs, drugs and terrorism.

Trump shows bold faith. Wrongly attacked by the pope, Trump defended himself and America.

Donald Trump is more a Christian than any other politician today, including Pope Francis. Contrary to the pope’s deceptive words, a Christian protects and serves his own family first. When America protects her people, Americans can, in turn, protect others.

What do good Catholics do when it seems as if this Pope is a liberation theologist?

Good Catholics pray and fast [for the pope] and try their very hardest not to show disrespect for him [like Trump did].

“Donald Trump is more of a Christian than any politician running today”.

More Trump style hyperbole? Good grief.

I’m Catholic and I missed Trump being disrespectful. Could you elucidate on this.

1. Trump didn’t expose him. It’s been known for a while. Nice of him to take credit.
2. Good Catholics do what good Americans do: pray. I did not denounce my citizenship when obama was coronated, nor will I if Bernie or Cankles is. Why would I leave my faith because of a bad pope?

Am I the only one who basically gives up reading the text when it has that symbol gibberish? I must be getting old!

This Pope is no Catholic. He is only playing one. To deny it is to deny reality.
This clown inserts himself into my countries security, and attacks an American that stands for our culture. If Trump ever wants to take another swipe at this Commie this Catholic will hold him in place!

Deciphering the bad characters is seldom worth the effort.
I skip it, too. I’m no programmer, but it seems to me it shouldn’t slow things down much to put a “straight quotes” function immediately after “preview” is clicked, followed by display of the intended post in the preview window. It’s a kludge, yes, but better than nothing.

If you missed it, go back and read it again. If you still don’t see it, ask your priest at confession.

Popes just don’t “quit” especially when there are no health issues. I saw red flags every where when this happened. The Holy Spirit gives us eyes to see and ears to hear. Speaking as a catholic of 59 years, this pope gives me the creeps. Whore of Babylon, anti Christ and false prophet. Yup sounds about right to me.

Thanks I reread it. Trump is a Protestant. He is not held to the same measure of respect for the Pope that a practicing Catholic is. I think a whole lot of Catholics spend a lot of time and effort explaining the words of Pope Francis. I don't recall having to make excuses for John Paul or Benedict. The Pope did insult Trump. Trump did not like being called non-Christian. The Pope got his payback.

Well the Pope did say anyone who wants to build walls and not bridges is not a Christian. I think I may not be a Christian by the Pope's definition of what a Christian is. I disagree with the Pope's speeches and actions in regard to illegal immigration. Perhaps, I should ask my Parish Priest if I should leave the Catholic Church because of this disagreement.

If you can find a good holy priest, also ask him if supporting a pro-abort candidate is something you should be concerned about, regarding the health of your soul.

I would not support Trump if he is pro abortion. He says he is not now. I remember Ronald Reagan being pro-abortion and he changed. I'll give Trump the benefit of the doubt.

Also,I have not seen the vast majority of the Bishops or our Priests say a word in criticism of pro-choice politicians. Most priests never even mention the evils of abortion in their homilies. I have attended “Forty Days for Life” events and if it wasn't for the laity any attendee would feel abandoned by the clergy.

Trump was for partial-birth-abortion years ago [link follows], and mentioned recently he’s never asked God for forgiveness. If there’s one thing someone should ask forgiveness for, it is for promoting [he has blood on his hands!] the taking apart of full-grown babies in the womb days before they are born. And still today, Trump is for rape/incest abortion. And those babies are just as real. The aborted in heaven are booing Donald Trump, as we speak.

And, yes, you’re right about the absence of talk of abortion. However, we had a priest long ago who DID in fact talk about even the full partial-birth-abortion procedure from the pulpit [he spoke of artificial birth control too], and he was run out of town, but lo and behold, my husband and I took a train several towns over to attend a Latin Mass recently [they are like heaven if you’ve not yet been to one], and there was Fr. John, conducting the Tridentine Mass. We’ve returned several times since then. :)

I didn’t mean any criticism of you. I went to the site link and read it there. Since it’s become an ongoing glitch I just wondered if others are skipping reading pieces with the glitch, too. I don’t always want to visit other sites. FR is simpler and faster than most. Thanks for the article, Peterson was very bold.
