Yes and building a wall is NOT going to stop any of the things you mentioned. We also have to prevent amnesty. But the whole ball of wax hangs on the balance of power in the Supreme Court. Be prepared to accept the loss of religious liberty, freedom of speech and press, and the right to bear arms. These things will have a more immediate and dire impact than even illegal immigration.
Cruz is ideologically conservative and will be reliable on issues like the nominees AND immigration. Trump is a wild card and a yuge gamble.
The problem with the current news cycle is that we get the salacious stuff and the context comes after. People get burnt out after all the smears and lies.
Did Trump donate personally or is there someone responsible for picking charities & organizations that didn’t vet properly, will we ever know now that the purpose of smearing has been satisfied?
I have liked the reporting at Life Site News for many years and I have to give them kudos for addressing the issue in a way that retained balance, mentioning that there were donations to family friendly and traditional marriage groups that were many times greater.

Sorry but Cruz will have to answer to the SAME PEOPLE as Rubio, Jeb and Kasich if he wants a dime for November. So PLEASE FORGIVE ME if I expect him to act LIKE EVERY OTHER Republican that needs money from that bunch.
I’ll take my chances on someone that DO NOT HAVE TO ANSWER TO THEM.
