Uh huh. Sure. So we can take the word of one of the more rabid braying trumpeters...or we can do a little research. I choose the latter and I’ll let others make their own decision:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/questions-linger-about-trumps-draft-deferments-during-vietnam-war/2015/07/21/257677bc-2fdd-11e5-8353-1215475949f4_story.html

Now, in 3....2....1....you’ll attack either me or the source of that article. It’s how you trumpeters roll.

I just read it and there isn’t anything there!

Where is the part where it proves he dodged the draft, not a bunch of “well maybe”, and “perhaps”?

Thanks for the link, it shows exactly what I though, quote:

“Sept. 17, 1968, he reported for an armed forces physical examination and was medically disqualified, according to the ledger from his local Selective Service”

Did you, by the way, serve in Viet Nam?

If I read your article correctly, his number never came up? He was randomly assigned number 356 out of 366, and since it was the first year of the lottery (they did 4 years on one draw), he kept that number for the 4 years of his eligibility.

Who, in that era, would have insisted their son volunteer instead?

Or, did I miss the issue entirely?
