The White House has reportedly narrowed its list of potential Supreme Court nominees down to five people, and four of them have donated to Barack Obama's political campaigns.
The five federal judges who will be interviewed by the White House for the nomination are federal judges Sri Srinivasan (who has donated $4,250 to Obama), Jane Kelly ($1,500 to Obama), Paul Watford ($1,000 to Obama), Ketanji Brown Jackson ($450 to Obama), and Merrick Garland, who has not donated to Obama.

Hasn’t been mentioned much on FR, but Judiciary Chair Grassley repeats forcefully almost every day that there will be NO hearings on Obama nominees.
McConnell would have to remove Grassley as Judiciary Chair if Mitch wants the Obama appointee.
If you’re a DemonRat, you want a judicious, thoughtful positivist who’ll see reason when you drop a bag of money on the table.
It is, of course, the Chicago style.
If you can’t pick your friends, what is the point of even having the authority to nominate prospective members for the Supreme Court?
The Current Occupant, even in a fit of contrarian thinking, would never submit the name of any potential jurist he thought would be remotely acceptable to persons who believe in the sanctity of the law. Compliance with Constitutional principles is just not in his nature.
“Constitutional scholar” my aching, er, foot. The Current Occupant only ever studied the Constitution because he was looking for loopholes.
If only we had a GOP controlled Senate.

But of course lawyers and law firms routinely donte large sums of money to judges all the time.
So, you can buy a seat on USSC?
The stupid and spiteful GOPe will give it to Obama, just so they can laugh at the Tea Party.

Well I guess we know which one wont get it.
Surprise, surprise, surprise!
And the lousy Republicrats will assist the evil Obama regime as usual. They’ll either endorse his appointment, or they’ll sit back and say nothing.
