Weird thing thought here- I do believe Obama issued some type or a number of executive orders on immigration policies.

You have read well but what you fail to grasp is a act of omission not “commission” by any & all legal enforcement agencies within the USA where the president has or thru his proxies instructed Border Patrol to stand down and let any & all immigrants in for processing.

When a country cannot control it’s own borders it is not a country -it therefore becomes a piece of lawless land.

Yes, It has not slipped by at all that these agencies have not only deliberately failed to hold back the invaders, but have undone the work of local and state officers to hold unlawful residents for review and deportation.

But I did miss the essential theme presented by Vieira, thay a country without firm borders is not a country.

For the individual human it is only when one says "NO" that the boundary defining one as a person comes into view. I see your point, that Obama (and his predecessors) have set us up as a wasteland with porous borders enticing criminals of all kind to come and take the physical and spiritual riches that our forefathers have banked up as a heritage for their progeny, and instead are giving it--nay, throwing it--away.

Obama and his crew have cleared the decks for the battle which now must be fought to keep the last remains of that which has been accumulated by self-sacrifice.

Thanks for making a point of this perspective.
