Where were all these purists when Mitt Romney — who gleefully bragged of having inspired ObamaCare — was the frontrunner in 2012?

Limbaugh the mid-westerner doesn't like the New York vibe Trump gives off. He actually uses colloquialisms I haven't heard since my grandmother! The sarcasm, the Jackie Mason point of view, the insistence on calling a spade a spade (he called Elizabeth Warren an ‘indian’ yesterday), the straightforward way of dealing with Israel, terrorism, immigration, etc. all sit uncomfortably with these types. They want someone who reads out policy papers on television.

It's not happening with Trump and it just offends their sensibility.

He's just going to have to win the election without the chattering classes.

Despite naming Ronald Reagan as his greatest influence, Rush Limbaugh never actually voted for him because he didn't register to vote until he was 35.

Let that sink in. Rush Limbaugh is such a committed conservative that he didn't even brother to vote for Reagan. No Limbaugh is not going to tell me who is and is not a conservative.

If Reagan is our measuring stick : Limbaughs, Levin and others:

Romney sought to distance himself from Reagan during an Oct. 25, 1994, debate with Edward Kennedy, the veteran Democratic senator he was trying to unseat in Massachusetts.

Kennedy said Romney was trying to take the U.S. back to the “Reagan-Bush years,” a reference to Reagan’s vice president and his White House successor for one term, George H.W. Bush.

“I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush,” Romney said. “I’m not trying to return to Reagan-Bush.”

Romney denounces Reagan-Bush and will do everything in his power to remove them. He claims he wasn't even a Republican but a independent

I was just wondering the same thing. What did this guy have to say about Romney’s conservative credentials? I don’t recall hearing any of these conservatives attacking Romney over his liberal record.
