I have been around politicians for awhile now and Cruz has always been one of the creepiest I have seen. This and the recent establishment support of Cruz confirms my suspicions.
Here is Ted’s statement from his facebook account.
“I want to be crystal clear: these attacks are garbage. For Donald J. Trump to enlist his friends at the National Enquirer and his political henchmen to do his bidding shows you that there is no low Donald won’t go.
These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack.
Donald Trump’s consistently disgraceful behavior is beneath the office we are seeking and we are not going to follow.”
Notice he does not attack the NE, only Trump. He does not say that he is suing NE only that the smears are false. He does not provide proof that Trump had anything to do with it (go to #TheThing on twitter scroll down to March 10-13 it was the Rubio Campaign and StopTrump that was peddling the story to knock both out).
