And I don’t know what. But Kentucky fried chicken isn’t the same as from when I was a kid either. Something just doesn’t taste the same. Im sure the hot shots have screwed that up too.

KFC does not equal Kentucky Fried Chicken... Just like we no longer have Burger Chef.

It's the same for Pringles Potato Crisps. I wish some company would make the original recipe again, although our bloated government would probably ban them over trans this or salt that.

Growing up in the 1970s, Kentucky Fried Chicken was considered high-falutin' food in my household. On special occasions, my father would go out and get a bucket or two and bring it home to us. It was so good. And we'd get it with the corn bread and corn on the cob. Good stuff.

Yeah, they definitely changed it since then. Either that or my taste buds have gotten more sophisticated. Which is possible. But either way, I liked it way better back then.

Indeed. Their chicken is now cooked in “healthy” oil with no trans fats. At least it’s healthy according to the lifestyle Nazis.

Real people are not supposed to pay attention to the fact that the chicken tastes bad and turns into rubber when allowed to cool.

Oh, and now it is bad for your health!

Prob some “know-it-all MBA” figured out a way to use cheaper ingredients, reduce the size, and pump in more High-Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS).

Bought a nine piece meal deal last week, all legs and thighs. You pay extra for white meat/breasts. The chicken pieces came from MAYBE 3.5 pound hens, pathetically small. They do still serve up some very good cole slaw.

Could your taste buds have changed over the years?

I wouldn’t know one way or another, not haven’t eaten chicken since 1955.
