eu demonic sounds like the perfume which permeates FR these days. smells like sulphur. the putrid posts on many threads just depress the hell out of me. how far have we sunk? the vitriol from each side directed to fellow conservatives, the muckraking in this Cruz adultery business. the very worst aspects of people’s character on display at every turn.

more evidence [as if you needed it] of the mental illness pervading this forum. Ann Coulter reveals SOME MINISCULE RESERVATION about Trump's antics and she's back to being the antichrist in Trumpbotland. ANY criticism is met with abject ridicule and vitriol. It's as if his followers have absorbed his own personality.

do I think Trump was behind the NE piece? no idea, maybe not, it doesn't matter. Do I think the entire thing is unseemly, probably true, and just gutwrenching for all involved. yes. I have never been a Cruz fan, he's always skeeved me out in the extreme, and now even more so. But you can't criticize trump without being accused of promoting Cruz or fanboying for cruz. in. san. it. y.

I like the word, difficult to use. I watched a BBC show the other night on Netflix about a mentally disabled man who lived a very bizarre life but was always very happy. He could easily be described as eudemonic. To be genuinely eudemonic in this age is to be somehow disconnected.

Using Trump logic, if Cruz did bed 5 or 8 other women, that makes Cruz a yuge winner.

True or not, the allegations don’t make Trump a better choice to lead this nation. These allegations might have mattered earlier in the process. Now that it’s basically a binary choice, it doesn’t matter. At all.

Cruz being an adulterer doesn’t make Trump (an admitted adulterer) a better option.

I am amused at the low info Trump fans, who, like their leader, are discovering that”delegates” aren’t an abstraction. They are real people, chosen in the various states, to whom nominating authority has been delegated.

After Trump lost Iowa, he remarked on how he thought he could just hold TV rallies and win. Didn’t realize he needed a ground game. I don’t think he actually learned any lesson, cause he shows no evidence of even trying to win over open or unbound delegates.

It’s almost like, in order to win a party’s nomination, that you have to actually know and be liked by party leaders from all over the place in various states.

I can’t wait till the Trump fans and the man himself find out about Pennsylvania.

Hill and Bernie, stereophonic
We’ll make the whole world eudemonic
Take the wealth from the workers
And distribute to shirkers
Marxist morons, stupidity chronic

I disagree....to be eudemonic is to know Jesus as your personal savior and know the joy from that relationship. Or, as Truthie might say to know God. I have that joy these days.....still not on my feel completely from the pneumonia, but my smile is back.

To be connected to the Savior is to be disconnected from the world.

To a degree, yes. It is, also, to know the He has this and I can trust Him, despite the trials and sorrows of this world.

oh but they will tell you it’s the hypocrisy factor and because Ted held himself out all Christian-like it’s worse. I GUESS, but did you see Trump’s explanation of why Easter was so special to him? if you are a Christian, you can choose between a hypocrite or a totally un-churched irreligious guy. Not sure it matters either way. and as you said the RELEVANT consideration is who is better to lead the nation. A thin-skinned bully who flies off the handle at the merest perceived slight, or a skeevy, slimy adultering hypocrite. well if the issue is a finger on the nuclear button, I think maybe the hypocrite is a better choice.

hoping you are on your way back to health!
so we are going to go to Houston for the final four. Travel to Houston is extremely expensive and difficult. Not sure if generally, or if there is gouging going on because of this event. But in any event, it was going to be $2400 each for us to fly from DC to Houston. So yeah, not doing that. xshub spent much of yesterday trying to figure it out and had us flying out of Baltimore on Southwest at ODARKTHIRTY on Friday AM [btw it’s at least an hour drive for us to get to BWI airport] to SAN ANTONIO, driving 3 hours to Houston, where we will stay in my Bro’s house [unoccupied and on the market], driving back to San Antonio on Monday to fly back. that was not appealing to me, and was going to cost $900 each. So today, we found nonstop flights from Reagan to DALLAS, love field for $900 each, so xsboy and I will do that. yes, it’s a 4 hour drive from Dallas to Houston, but I at least am comfortable with Dallas, have never been to San Antonio in my life, and flying out of Reagan at 8 am and not having to drive to Baltimore is another huge selling point. xshub is going to be in Tampa at the end of this week on biz, so he will see what he can find from Tampa to Houston. We can pick him up from the airport bc Bro’s house is not far from the airport. xsbaby doesn’t care enough about any of this to warrant this expense, so she will stay home. xsnephew is in nursing school at Baylor in Dallas and so we can meet him for lunch before we fly back on Monday. oh and the tix are fully refundable in the off chance SU wins the first game and we need to stay until Tuesday.
