I thought Carolina Dogs were yellow — not brown. Certainly the one in the picture is yellow. I’m headed to S. Carolina next month for a short visit. Perhaps I’ll find one!

My son, who lives these, says they’re really nice dogs.

If you visit Dr. Don Anderson in Lynches River, you can even pick up a rare piebald American Dingo.

They come in all colors but red ginger, tan and yellow are most common. Black and white are rarer.

They’re often mistaken for a small GSD by people who don’t know better.

AD/CD are sweet, small dogs with none of the typical wet dog smell. They’re just plain cute and a fun dog and get along well with other pets.

A few long walks a day make them happy and they like nothing better than to crash right next to you in your bed at night.

Just a wonderful, clean companion!
