2. In reference to some of the comments here about air dryers blowing germs from bathroom air on your hands, Dyson Airblades use HEPA filters to remove germs from the air.
I haven’t seen a single airblade with a proper drain. They are ubiquitous where I work (major med device manufacturer). Some of them have delaminated and look horrible where all the water gets blown off into the bottom reservoir and flows over the sides and ultimately onto the wall/floor. I have been splashed in the face/eyes from what was in the bottom of these things when using them.
I doubt the claims that they are hygienic.
Yeah this one surprised me. I remember a number of years ago Dyson had a display in some mall showcasing their new at the time airblades and a big selling point was they were much more hygienic than previous air dryers. Also more powerful and quicker to use.
