A question back to you: If Trump fails to make it to 1237, why should he be awarded the nomination?
If he is first place, he should win. If they don’t give it to first place, then it should go to someone else (an outsider or consensus candidate who was not a part of the process.) That’s my perspective. You can’t give it to second or third place. Forgive me, but in my America, first place wins. If Cruz gets first place, he should win. If Trump gets first place, he should win. What happened to Cruz saying that the only way to beat Trump was at the ballot box?
