A good lesson for everyone else, indeed.
And that is EXACTLY what the Left wants. And everyone who plays meekly along with it, including those who think he got what he deserved because they have some kind of axe to grind because of his career as an athlete, are willfully dancing to the fiddle played by the left.
There is no middle ground.
It is fine to observe that speaking his mind was a risk to his job, because that is a simple statement of undeniable fact.
But if you say he got what he deserved, then you are weak-minded, a sheep, or a liberal.
There is no other option.
Whether he deserved it or not is one question. But he certainly should have expected it. How many times has he been suspended or fined for what he’s said? He was foolish if he thought he’d get away with what he posted on FB and Twitter.
The left acts and conservatives talk. Those who formerly did not even belong to our society now govern it and with the help of those once in charge.
When folks didn’t have Anita Bryant’s back in 1977 was when the blueprint of going after people who stood against their agenda was set. And they’ve used it effectively ever since.
