I see no reason it cannot be both/and.

Donald Trump is the deal maker. Let him know what kind of deal is acceptable, and what isn’t. It isn’t an acceptable deal to pontificate to a place like North Carolina what it MUST do to promote peace and/or decency in public loos.

We already lost private property rights long ago.
Private businesses can’t discriminate with regard who they do business with.

They also are forced to not allow smoking.

They also are forced to make alterations to their business to accommodate people with disabilities (and not only those in wheelchairs as is commonly thought but ALL disabilities). This one cost business owners untold billions of dollars in renovation costs and legal fees.

I’m sure there are many other examples.

Where is this gender neutral/pro-crossdressing concept NOT a part of the “War on Women?” I guess that biological/dna women are no long important, only those men who want to be women are important.

Was pondering how this might play out at the YMCA and realized how many times I’ve had women locker room attendants walk in on me at Planet Fitness. Never did understand why they did that when their were males working.

It does not have to be men in dresses.

Men and boys who ‘identify’ as women can go in women’s restrooms and dressing rooms under the new law ... no need to be in a dress or attempting to look like a female is required.

And it’s not only restrooms, it’s locker rooms and showers.

I don’t think allowing men to use the women’s restroom requires them wearing a dress or looking like a woman in any manner, they just have to claim that they identify as a woman.

The masquerade was what Target, at least, seemed to be trying to accommodate.

They forgot that it was not all “live and let live” masquerades out there. There is the Chester Molester crowd and that’s what the public clearly envisioned.

“Excuse me ma’am”? Did they explain?

I know. I’m a big believer in private property rights, and we have lost that here, and for that reason I would never open a business subject to all the laws.

I would prefer to get back to basic liberty and personal property rights where business owners can run their business as they wish. Why do we have to make deals with the devil?

I never did ask. I shower when I get home, so I've never been walked in on in less than my skivvy's, and don't care anyway. There are men in the showers though and I've never heard anyone complain. My wife on the other hand has complained about men walking in the women's locker. Thankfully it is Spring and we can exercise outside now.

No “claim” involved - just “identify”. There is no viable criteria for removing someone short of other specific violations (actual peeping etc), as “NOYB” is a legitimate response to “why are you in there?”
