Build the wall! Absolutely the best shovel ready project to come along in my lifetime.

I hope they have something like "50 weeks of 50 states" or something like that, where each state gets to come and lay bricks in the wall. My dad is a WWII veteran who has passed now, I'll buy a dozen memorial bricks with his name in the section honoring "The Greatest Generation".

This issue of border security goes to the bond between those elected to govern and their promises and the people that elect them. That bond has been broken for so long that we have whole new generations of undocumented workers (illegal aliens) pulling the same scam again. Who can blame them. Anyone 45+ y/o or so knows this. Only a wall can make good now, anything else simply won't be trusted.

I like the idea of state participation in building our border wall. We have seen extensive use of prefab walls in travels thru states and they do not detract from the scenery. Many are formed with images of local culture and quite attractive. States could decide what they want on their section of the border wall.
