This POWERFUL Letter Explains Why THIS Police Officer Will Not Respond To Calls Anymore
USHerald ^ | January 30, 2016

Posted on 05/06/2016 7:45:00 PM PDT by UMCRevMom@aol.com

This letter from a police officer really makes you fully understand how dangerous of a job being a cop really is.

They put their lives on the line every single day and don't get the respect they deserve while serving their communities. This is a top down issue that has created an atmosphere of contempt towards the police in our country that has been led by none other than our President, Barack Obama. --------------------------------------------------

"Today, I will not answer the radio call that your boyfriend has come home drunk and is beating you again.

Today I will not answer the radio call that your 16 year old daughter, who is very responsible, is four hours late coming home from school.

Today I will not answer the radio call that your store has been robbed or your house has been burglarized.

Today I will not stop a drunk driver from killing someone.

I will not catch a rapist or a murderer or a car thief.

Today I will not answer the radio call that a man has a gun or tried to abduct a child or that someone has been stabbed or has been in a terrible accident.

Today I will not save your child that you locked in a car or the child you were to busy to watch who went outside and fell into the swimming pool, but that I revived.

No, today I will not do that.

Why?

Because: Today I was killed by a drunk driver while I was helping push a disabled car off the highway.

Today I was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop to simply tell someone that they had a taillight out. Today I was killed in a traffic accident rushing to help a citizen.

Today I was shot and killed serving a warrant on a known drug dealer.

Today I was killed by a man when I came by to do a welfare check because his family was to busy.

Today I was killed trying to stop a bank robbery or a grocery store robbery.

Today I was killed doing my job.

A chaplain and an officer will go to a house and tell a mom and dad or a wife or husband or a child that their son or daughter or husband or wife or father or mother won't be coming home today.

The flags at many police stations were flown at half-mast today but most people won't know why. There will be a funeral and my fellow officers will come, a twenty-one-gun salute will be given, and taps will be played as I am laid to rest. My name will be put on a plaque, on a wall, in a building, in a city somewhere. A folded flag will be placed on a mantel or a bookcase in a home somewhere and a family will mourn.

There will be no cries for justice. There will be no riots in the streets. There will be no officers marching, screaming "no justice, no peace." No citizens will scream that something must be done. No windows will be smashed, no cars burned, no stones thrown, no names called. Only someone crying themselves to sleep tonight will be the only sign that I was cared about.

I was a police officer."

This is an important reminder of all that our police do every day in serving and protecting us.

Maybe Obama should give this a good read as well. He might actually support our police instead of constantly tearing them down.

Keeping things in perspective, “policeman” is not even in the Top Ten of dangerous occupations in this country.

Sad but true. Whenever I’m in a fast food place and there’s either a cop or a service member there, I pay for their food.

As the father of a former federal police officer, I know what this man has written. I was fortunate. My son was never injured during his service time. Nor was he wounded during his time fighting in Iraq.

However, our so-called president (more like a Marxist authoritarian) and his people don’t give a shit about dead cops or Medal of Honor winners unless there is a photo-op in it for them (and I can count at least 4 MOH winners among my friends and acquaintances).

The President, the mayor of Baltimore, the States’ Attorney General for Baltimore, the leaders of Ferguson, Missouri, our college presidents and other administrative leaders, the Democrat Party, Marxist nuts like Bernie Sanders, former Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga), illegal immigration promoters Sec. of Commerce Tom Perez and Rep. Luis Guttierrez, and those in California who will not execute their murderers of too many Katie Steinlees (or support Kate’s Law), or the Marxist nutcake mayor of New York and his Marxist-led City Council, or the thug/crook Gov. of New York and his environmental wacko AG, give a damn about dead cops or firemen/women.

If they did, they wouldn’t say and do what they have done to spit on them, live or dead.

If there is one saving grace in their disgraceful mental illnesses, it is that more Americans are waking up to their Second Amendment rights and are buying guns to protect themselves when the cops can’t arrive in time, or in the case of the “dead cop” writer, they just won’t come at all.

In the end, it all comes to the following:

In a criminal or medical emergency, who do you trust - A Democrat politician or a policeman, EMT or doctor/nurse?

If the answer is a Democrat politician (not all Democrats are crazy bastards, just their leaders/toadies), then write your Will now because your family is going to need it after they bury you.

And they really appreciate it. Most people have no idea how much responsibility their job entails and how much training they have to go through to earn as low a wage as they do. The only real perk is having a badge and a being able to carry a gun which is no longer a big deal. The threat of lawsuits is almost scarier than being shot at...lol

No way. The guy has no conscience. Not a clue of right, or wrong. Just what’s convenient for him.

Today I will not call a cop because yesterday I did and he shot my dog.

They are #6 in the bureau of labor, truck drivers are #1 and farmers #2.

“I can count at least 4 MOH winners among my friends and acquaintances”.

No offense meant, but they are not MOH winners. They are awarded it, and if you ask them, they didn’t win it.

The rest I agree with.

/Disclaimer, I know no Medal Of Honor awardees, just have read a lot about them. And from them.

-

That was not implied but the other dangerous occupations don’t have people spitting at them and marching in the street chanting about killing them

.

At least he will not shoot a homeowner believing the no knock raid is a regular thug home invasion.

At least he will not shoot someones dog for merely barking at him and making him feel threatened.

At least he will not shoot someone for lipping off to him as a female cop recently did to a homeless person.

At least he will not shoot someone and is dashcam video somehow just happens to be erased during this time.

At least he will not shoot an unarmed person and plant a NOLA ham sandwich on them.

For all the bitcing he no one forced im against his will to be a cop. I think there ought to be a point where once they jit a certain level of cynicism and jadedness, they move to either off the street work or retire. Id offer counseling ut most would not take it. It would cut down on the alcoholism and rage related anger incidents.

This from someone who grew up in a cop family. I know what 20 years does to a street cop. I have sympathy but they cant take it out on regular people, and by then they are so jaded they view everyone cynically and unless you are also a cop, you’re not as good a person. Their cynicism is thst you just havent screwed up and gotten caught yet.

I wonder to what degree those stats are made better by the number of paper pushers and “I visit schools to warn kids about drugs” hires who don’t actually go out on the streets.

When Americans come to understand that Ophonybama and his LIEberal Comrades in arms do not care about them, America will begin to heal the many wounds that have been inflicted on them by the Ophonybama criminals!!
