I rode one when I was half her age. I may be on a much shorter timeline though.

I’m a lot younger than her and found my one camel ride (in the United Arab Emirates) rather difficult.But I have two bad hips and that was a big part of it...they’re tough to get on to and off of.

Not a camel, but I cherish a picture of my 90 year old grandmother dressed in pioneer garb with a sun bonnet, carrying an old shot gun and riding a mule.

Every carnival and festival used to have camel rides and elephant rides back in the day.

They’d give out a sticker after the ride saying, “I rode a camel” or “I rode an elephant”.

I think they still do this.
