A pseudo news source liberals used. Millennials used to like it until Hulk Hogan sued them for $150 million.

I don’t know if a defamation judgment is dischargeable in bankruptcy since it’s an intentional tort.

I was thinking the same thing. Hulk didn’t loan or dispense capital to be repaid. He won a court case.

Some court judgments can be discharged. A judgment for negligence can be discharged.

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr-esq/gawker-media-files-chapter-11-901536
“Gawker Media has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after a Florida judge issued a $140 million final judgment in favor of Hulk Hogan in the invasion-of-privacy lawsuit over the posting of a sex tape.

The online news organization founded in 2003 by Nick Denton which now includes other sites like Deadpin, Jezebel and Kotaku, reports that it has less than $100 million in assets and hundreds of millions in liabilities. “

So it sounds like his status is get in line and if there’s anything left, he gets it last.

I've always liked intentional tortes

First bid for all of it is $100 million. Hope Trump buys it and makes the staff o Jezebel work for him.

It’s a shame because I liked their non-political humor on those sites. It was edgy. But the owner of those Gawker websites was so anti-conservative that I had to tune them out. Even Deadspin, which is supposed to focus on sports, was using every opportunity to turn a sports story into an anti-conservative rant.

Gawker managed to piss of Peter Thiel (a tech billionaire).

He funded Hogan's lawsuit against Gawker, with the express purpose of taking them down.

Was It Wrong for Peter Thiel to Fund Hulk Hogan’s Gawker Lawsuit?

Kind of ironic since the person financing Hogan's lawsuit is a gay who was upset about Gawker outing him and some friends of his.

The left is eating its own.
