It’s been moving east and slightly north, unless it goes directly north at this point it should pass us by with a few miles to spare. Also, moving east gets it out of the forest and onto the plains, easier terrain and loads less fuel.

My folks live in Idaho. They had a very bad range fire (Soda Fire) there last year with scrub. Took over 2 weeks to control. Burned 284,000 acres of rangeland, killed cattle and destroyed property. It can travel very fast on open range with little wind. Glad you're safe.
