Got qualms about VMAD’s? No problem; bring on the rail guns. That way, at least, they won’t have to feel any temporary discomfort and the HR weenies can feel better about themselves.

If it starts with ‘H’ and ends with ‘R’ it can’t be good.

During the Mexican-American War, the Mexicans used copper rounds dipped in copper sulfate. Our boys would get a wound that would normally be survivable, but the copper would kill our guy weeks or months later. These bullets were ourlawed by international convention but that did not concern the Mexican Army.

No one will be standing still if their body feels as if on fire. Also, they will be turned away from the source running in panic mode—their eyes facing away from the source of the sensation. The only way to reach the damage threshold is if restraints are holding a person.

Your authoritative faith in this high energy microwave product’s safety is impressive!

Especially since this scraped “crowd control” weapon achieves human pain delivery by RAPIDLY Vibrating water molecules in human skin, tissue and eyeball cells.
Umm, just like a microwave oven does!

Tell you what.
You go and ask if you can help resurrect this Military - Law Enforcement weapons program by volunteering to help with safety trials.

You can volunteer for Directed Energy wespon exposure as a conscious, unconcious, and restrained subject for exposure of periods of up to 5+ minutes. (Tissue burns occur after 240 seconds)
Get back to us with how your deep dermal layer microwave burns, and cooked eyeballs worked out.
K?

Go hang out with someone well versed in military surface-search radar safety precautions, units with 100’s of kW output. Get back to me about standing around in that beam versus exposure to minor wattage that a damp paper bag will stop.

Flush some down every month, if I remember!
