Oh, isn’t that interesting. Does that mean that the Brits have been paying an extra 2.44 billion lbs. more than they receive back...since I assume that money flow to and from the EU will cease in BOTH DIRECTIONS once Britain leaves. In other words, the loss of Britain should be REVENUE NEUTRAL, but it is not - so where does all this extra money that Britain has been gifting the EU go? Sounds like Britain was getting ROBBED BLIND by the EU.
(and that’s just Germany’s share...probably 8 billion when the other countries are counted)
The UKs net contribution to the EU is about £10 billion a year. I guess that’s about £300 per taxpayer per year.
The gross contribution is about twice that.
Bloated, unaccountable dictatorships don’t come cheap.
