The population of England is over 50 million. The population of Iceland is over 300,000. England has a storied history of football/soccer. Most people probably don’t know Iceland plays. So, I think it was kind of an upset.

Nearly if not all of the Iceland team members play professionally for teams around the world. They play like a team, too.
