WOODLAND, Wash. — It's not uncommon to hear gunfire in this rural community that hugs the Lewis River. But the shots that rang out so late on a Friday night were clearly different, neighbors said.
"We heard shots about 10:15 p.m., about three rapid fires,'' Jeff Daniels said. "Then there was a pause. Then I heard a couple more.''
When Daniels awakened Saturday, he learned that three adults had been shot to death on the property next door, and a fourth, a woman, had driven 2.2 miles to the nearby AM/PM convenience store with a gunshot wound to the face. Someone noticed the woman in the parking lot and went inside the store to have someone call 911. Store clerks came out with rags to try to stop the bleeding.

The woman who got away, according to neighbors, was airlifted to a local trauma hospital from Woodland airport, located across the street from the AM/PM store. Police said she went into surgery Friday night.

About 90 minutes after the shots were fired, numerous police cars raced up the gravel roads to Lamar's home, neighbors said. Members of the Southwest Washington Regional SWAT Team surrounded the property.

90 minutes for the police to get there?
I don’t know for sure, but I suspect that it took them 90 minutes to identify the female and where she came from or lived. If she was shot in the face she may not have been able to talk much or may not have been very responsive. I suspect the guy was long gone by the time she made it down the road and it does not say the neighbors called police about the shots.
Guessing meth was involved - it is a horrible drug.
Hard to know how long it took for the injured woman to get to the AM-PM. Woodland is partly in two counties, very rural, population about 5500. Sheriff is probably spread pretty thin.
UM, I don’t know, that guy doesn’t look quite Aryan to me. Of course I’m a notorious racist.

Can we rule out the suspect as being Jewish, Amish, Japanese, Vegan and Wiccan?
Either he’s a traditional Asian Buddhist (where the swastika is an ancient Buddhist symbol - I saw them on tombstones in Vietnam) or he’s been watching the movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark” too many times.
