Anyone surprised Cruz didn't endorse Trump?

Not me.

Cruz will likely vote his conscience for Hilllary. This is an election of Hillary or Trump. What does your conscience say?

Trump will not forget this slight and hates a liar. Cruz will be lucky to win re-election to the Senate. He has no future otherwise in politics.

He said to vote your conscience.

Cruz signed a pledge to support the nominee of the party. He has now lied as hard as Hillary. He's a petty little puke who couldn't even mention Trump by name.

Trump let Cruz slit his own throat. Cruz got booed of the stage like the dirty dog he is.

If Cruz couldn't stand hard campaigning he should have just stayed home and sucked his thumb in the closet with his woobie.

Good Grief! Posters said you Cruz supporters would make any excuse for Cruz and you are certainly doing that. He lied, broke his pledge and couldn’t even attempt to unify the party. He will NEVER be on the SCOTUS.

Then he could have stayed home if he fee feels were that hurt.

And you seriously think this guy should have been the nominee with this attitude?

“Are we not supposed to vote our conscience?”

THEN GO VOTE FOR HILLARY!

You dont want to vote for Trump? Fine!!!

Then find your way to DU where the only other person running can count on your oh-so-holier-than-thou-principaled support!

It’s like YOU KNOW how absurd you sound, but want to play some stupid martyr act because you all are too damn chicken$hit to just flat-out say you rather have Hillary as president.

There is no chance of a Cruz supporter voting for Hillary Clinton. The only choice they now have (one that I already made in April) is to support Trump or remain silent.

True. Ted endorsed Trump by implication. All these people getting upset about this are just helping the Democrat narrative of a split Republican party that can't win the election.

We will win. This is the year of the outsider, as we saw in the primaries. And our turnout is much larger than theirs this time.

Don’t get your panties in a wad, he’ll still make a great Supreme Court justice.

We already have a John Roberts.

I worked for Cruz and felt proud to do it. I worked the phone, donated money as well as time to his campaign here in Texas.
I would've been happy to go house to house and knock on doors for him but my age and health would not permit that anymore....
I am now most disappointed in him. I was holding a little hope out to the bitter end that he would endorse Trump
He Did Not! I Am Finished With Him Once And For All! He Is Now Dead To Me!

Go Trump Go!

I told Cruz supporters Cruz was a fraud. They attacked me instead.

Ditto when I tell Muslims that Muhamad is a liar(on the internet never in person as a Muslim will attack you physically if you even say a word against Muhamad)

These are cult leaders. but liars.

To all you FReepers with your media-inspired phobias of a split party, Reagan never endorsed Ford, but he was close enough, when he said:

We must go forth from here united, determined that what a great general said a few years ago is true: There is no substitute for victory, Mr. President.

Cruz was even closer to an endorsement, especially if you believe Trump supports the Constitution, as I believe he does.

So just relax, don't play into the media narrative of a hopelessly divided Republican Party.

So which conservative positions of Senator Cruz will you oppose because he said you should vote your conscience for those who support the Constitution?

0bama could have made the same speech that Cruz did. The principles would still be true.

But nothing can ever change the fact that Ted Cruz is a lowdown, selfish, lying sack of sh!t.

Vote Trump!

I am one of only two optimists in this thread, the rest of you seem demoralized by media-inspired expectations.

Remember Obama made Hillary his Secretary of State, and their differences were more pronounced. And Reagan made Bush Sr. his running mate -- it's politics, not a soap opera.

To my knowledge, Reagan never signed a pledge either, did he? I have no coubt that if he had, then he would have honored it - unlike lyin’ Ted.
