He absolutely does!
Trump could have denied Cruz a speaking slot, in which case he would have been criticized for being so thin-skinned he couldn’t even risk any opposing views and Cruz could have lied and said he would have endorsed Trump.
Instead Trump gave Cruz enough rope to hang himself.
Nobody can criticize Trump for being willing to let his opponent have his say. And the world now knows Cruz is not a man of his word, and is too petty and arrogant to be gracious in defeat. Thank God we don’t have to worry about the Cruznadian Creep leading our country!
I don’t think he deserves a place in the Senate, but that’s up to the voters of Texas. Nor do I want him anywhere near the Supreme Court, but that is up to the President, which is to say “not gonna happen!”.
Cruz earned that nickname long before last night. But last night reinforced that the name was appropriate.
Funny how the pledge that was designed to embarrass Trump has ended up proving all these other candidates to be liars.
I felt it was a slander on a man I felt was the most principled politician of my lifetime and I tried to refute every purported “lie” his opponent tried to falsely pin on him.
The Republican Party, in an attempt to prevent Donald Trump from running a third party Presidnetial run after the Republican establishment sabotaged his Republican nomination, had all Republican primary candiates sign an oath that they would support and endorse the eventual Republican nominee.
Cruz signed the oath and promised to support the eventual Republican Party Presidential candidate.
That candidate turned out to be Donald Trump
Cruz backed out of his oath and refuses to endorse Donald Trump.
Can't refute the accusation of “Lyin Ted” on this one - Ted lied, and that lie is huge and consequential
We learned all we need to know about Ted during the Iowa Caucus. No doubt he spread the lie Ben Carson was dropping out
