What you are afraid of is the antithesis of what she was presenting. She in no way brought up the government in this at all. She was making the point it is the duty of our society to foster the individual responsibility to take care of our own, just like the company does in their case. It was actually a slam against government involvement.
That family is raised in a totally different mindset that all members of the company are a part of the extended family. They are so far away from any mindset that would have someone else do their work.

P.S.: Good job over on the “redacted 28 pages of 9/11 report” thread...Truther/Bircher/THC advocates need some engineering lessons sometimes! (Had to do some schooling on a TWA-800 thread recently...as an Airframe & Powerplant mechanic I couldn’t let the “there are NO wires in a 747 center fuel tank” statement go unchallenged!)
