Don’t forget health Care.

He gets a lifetime of Health Care, Optical and dental.

Lucky dude! As they say in the projects, he hit it big. :)

This makes a point about how many people out there will always be poor no matter how much is given to them or what their minimum wage is.

Amen! Thanks for sharing.

Excellent point! He probably figured that 3 million wouldn't cover his obamacare premium hikes....

IIRC, about 6 states allow anonimity....KS, ND, OH, MD, SC I forgot the other and few more states allow trusts to claim prizes.

It’s horrible that they publish your name when you win.

A few weeks back a guy in Florida hit it big with a scratch off and some thugs broke into his house a couple days later and killed him. It was on FR, would look for it if I was on my computer.

I saw a program on one of the cable channels several years back called “The Curse of the Lottery.” They profiled several people who won large sums of money whose life then went rapidly downhill. Some ended up in prison, others died. There was no “curse.” These people were totally irresponsible individuals before winning the money - drug users, etc. Winning the money didn’t suddenly transform them into responsible people, it just allowed them to accelerate the downward slide they were already on.

3,000,000 really isn’t that much.

After taxes he probably brings home 2,000,000.

New cars for the family, a new dream house, huge vacation and it’a all gone.

It works for me.

Pay cash and it's yours with no debt.

Also, invest some and use the interest for taxes and utility payments.

An old saying is that "poor people have poor ways." Say it around libs, and it drives them nuts. Too bad it's true in many, many cases.

I've never heard that one but I sure like it!
