Doubt it’s uncommon and surprised she would be singled out actually. The Swedish super model Vendala was featured on a Sport’s Illustrated TV special, and they interviewed her mother. Her mother said when Vendala was young that she refused to look at any family photograph that didn’t have herself in the picture.
If you see any type of celebrity, whether movie star or model, you can be pretty sure narcissism is a driving force in their success.

...Moran was attending events and undertaking negotiations without their approval...Miss Florida was kicked from her throne just last week for illegally using professional stylists not affiliated with the pageant... Guess they should have read the fine print on those "contracts." Funny, it seems like the pageants treat them like a piece of meat, a simple showpiece to be told exactly what to do, where, and when...an object. All the while claiming publicly they do not objectify women...
